At the suggestion of her mother, Peggy began attending Calvary Chapel Church Yakima. It was there that she nurtured her devotion to the Lord and forged profound connections with individuals who eventually became her extended family. Peggy began volunteering at Union Gospel Mission in 2012, until her health deteriorated in 2024. Alongside her brother John and daughter Patricia, they meticulously organized the donations that poured in, a task she found immense joy in.
One of Peggy’s cherished hobbies was the art of embroidery. Upon learning of an impending arrival of a newborn, Peggy dedicated herself to crafting a special blanket for the baby. At the time of her passing, she had completed the last three blankets, destined for three soon-to-be-born little boys who will each receive a unique masterpiece lovingly crafted by her.
Special gratitude to the exceptional team at Heartlinks/Hospice.
