Ramona Diaz

Ramona Diaz passed away on April 21, 2014 at the age of 81 with family members by her side. Ramona was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Wapato High School in 1950. She lived 42 years in Yakima, WA with her husband Louis Diaz.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Diaz and her six children, Rosalie Valenzuela and husband Joseph of La Center, WA, Micheal Rocha, Edward Rocha, Julie Libunao, Rudy Rocha and wife Marilyn of San Jose, CA and Richard Rocha and wife Rachel of Tucson, AZ, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step children, Sandra Gaytan and husband Simon, Louis J. Diaz Jr. and wife Lori, Herman P. Diaz and wife Kim and Lily Michele Isom and husband Glen.

She is also survived by four sisters, Emma Kuhnhenn, Carole Conrad, Theresa Walters and Carmen Diaz and husband Lalo and two brothers, Paul Raastad and wife Marge and Henry Raastad and wife Sandy.

Ramona is preceded in death by her father, Luis Estrada and her mother, Paula Velasquez.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, 1010 West Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato, WA.
