Ray was educated through the Wapato school district and graduated high school in 1956. He loved playing football and running track for the Wolves which earned him several awards he was proud of. He also was yell King (cheerleader) during basketball season and was voted guy with the best hair. After high school Ray and a group of friends from school moved to the west side meeting up with several other local valley guys and began working for Boeing where he worked from 1956 to 1971. Working in various capacities there one of his favorites was riveter working directly on planes. This allowed him and a team from Boeing to travel and repair planes in foreign countries such as Portugal, Libya, India. France and Mexico to name a few. He had a lot of fun and great memories.
Outside of school and work he loved to hunt, fish, camp, garden and raise bees. Best of all Ray loved spending time with family making memories and watching his children and grandchildren through their accomplishments. Ray was a history buff and kept up on current events as well as serving the citizens of Wapato as a city council member during the 1980"s.
Survived by dtr's Pam Meeker (Clarence). April Judd and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Howard Judd and Mary Ellen (Epperson) Judd, dtr Ellen Judd and son Mark Judd.
