

Reba Mae Brent, 96, passed away on July 3, 2026, at Riverview Manor in Selah, WA, Reba suffered from dementia. She was born on January 31, 1930, in Ava, Missouri, to Emmett George Prine and Clara Alice Deckard.
Reba completed the 10th grade and, over the course of her life, lived in Missouri, Michigan, and Washington. Through changing seasons and places, she carried herself with steady resilience—meeting life as it came, with a determined spirit that could be both steadfast and, at times, firmly set in her ways.
Those who knew Reba remember a kind-hearted and compassionate presence, expressed most clearly in the simple, consistent ways she cared for others. She enjoyed making quilts and crocheting, creating with patience and purpose. Her generosity also reached beyond her home, as she liked to help feed the homeless and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Reba is survived by Kathy Knox, Angela, Melissa, Jeremy, Taylor, Bailee, Lexie, Tyson, Naomi, Amani, Jordan, Lilly, Sia, Kallen, Kolton, Joseph, and Luca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet George Prine and Clara Alice Deckard, and by Charlie and Sarah Deckard, Margie, Clifford, Freda, Norman, and Gary Winters.
A Graveside Service will be held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park, 3001 Terrace Heights Dr, Yakima, WA 98901, US, on July 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
