You were such a light and joy in this world. I did not know you well but was impacted by your incredible spirit in the times I spent with you. You were always so inclusive, kind, fun, and up for anything. The world needs more people like you. I always thought someday we would become closer friends and always felt comfort you were in Yakima making the community better. You have inspired me to reconnect with friends and to enjoy life and the moments we have. My deepest sympathy goes out to Scott, Travis, and Gina’s family and friends, I cannot comprehend your sorrow.

Being a long time friend of Gina’s husband Scott, I always felt like he could never meet someone that I would feel was good enough for my wonderful friend. When Scott brought Gina over to meet me, I instantly knew she was a perfect match for him. She was sweet, adventurous ( ordered soft shell crab at dinner... impressive!) and I really, really liked her. To know that exceptional young lady is no longer here brings me such sadness. Gina, you will be so missed!! Rest Peacefully beautiful soul.

Gina shall be missed in a million ways. I so appreciate knowing her laughter, ability to share such knowledge especially about yoga, her connection to the community, and her love and affection for her husband Scott and son Travis.
I was lucky enough to visit with her in a backyard picnic at her home on Saturday, two days before she died. She was speaking of Scott taking care of so many things during her illness, Travis getting ready to start kindergarten, the lawn needing a little care, and the tomatoes needing harvesting. She was loving and caring.
Scott and Travis: Please accept my heartfelt condolences. If there is something you need, reach out. I know you have lots of friends and family. I am right here in the area and available. Love to you both and all Gina's friends and extended family. Marsha Threlkeld

My family and I have been your family's neighbors and we have known you for many years. Joey and Philip went to high school with Regina, Diana, and Cynthia, and my sons often carpooled with Regina. (I was so glad she was the driver rather than them). Every time we saw Mona or John, they would always share with us what each of their children were doing, because each of them were doing something fantastic, including Gina's service in the Peace Corps and the birth of her little boy. Gina's passing is a tremendous loss. I am so very sorry.
