Richard Selby Phippin Jr. Born June 21, 1955 went to be with his creator on May 27, 2012. Born in Long Beach California to Richard Selby Phippin Sr. and Ameila Phippin. Richard was raised and educated in San Francisco, there after he served in the United States Army. Richard moved to

Yakima Washington were he lead many people to the word of Christ. Richard met the love of his life Debbie Sterling and married on February 14, 1982 in Yakima Washington. Richard and Debbie raised three wonderful boys, Robert Sterling of Yakima, Ryan and (Jeannie) Sterling of Selah, Joshua and (Audrey) Phippin of Yakima, and the daughter they never had Pamela Sterling of Selah. Richard also had Eight wonderful grandchildren he loved and cherished Isaiah Sterling, Anthony Sterling, Emma Salinas, Madison Phippin, Mariah Phippin, Aliana Phippin, Alicia Tompson, Jesse Martinez and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Richard worked as a professional journeymen carpenter he worked with many construction companies throughout Yakima Valley for many years. Richard's passion was fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends camping. Richard also enjoyed hangings out with his friends at the James Gang. Richard was known by several people as "Big Rich". He was one of the best washer board players EVER!

Everyone wanted him as their partner! Richard was proceeded in death by his mother Ameila Phippin, Father and Mother in-law Dave and Jean Sterling, and several nephews, and cousins.

" Having to give up someone we love is never easy no matter how good life has been or how warm the memories,

the time is never enough. We are overwhelmed by our loss and, only after the grief has eased are we able to find comfort, and how much we gained from the years we had together"

We love you Rich, you will truly be missed and, forever in our hearts.
