He was born on February 11th, 1956 to Donald and Darlene McKie in Martinez, CA. He was the 7th child born out of 10.
He was raised in a very loving and close family. The rule in our household was we had to get along with each other. It was very important to our parents that we respected one another.
We love you brother and miss you dearly, but this isn’t good bye. Our Lord and Savior will come back and take us all home one by one.
Rick is survived by his siblings Daniel McKie, Robert (Bob) McKie, Sherry Jackson, Donna Leingang and Nancy Long, stepdaughter Jill Baumgartner, granddaughter Corin Schillinger, nephew Ricky McKie, aunt Shelia Reynolds, girlfriend Vanessa Rogers, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Sandra Ratliff and Lisa Key, and brothers Ronald McKie and David Sumner.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, July 19th, 2019 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA. Immediately following will be a celebration of life reception in the clubhouse at Meadowbrook Estates.
