Robert was born January 21, 1959 to Ned and Virginia Klein in Yakima, Washington.
He graduated from Grandview High School in 1978.
He moved with his family to Yakima, Washington in 1991.
He was a big sports fan (Dodgers, Mariners, Rams, Seahawks, Lakers, Seattle Supersonics).
He enjoyed going to the Capital Theatre for the Town Hall Series.
He was an avid reader of all types of books. He loved to draw especially comic book characters.
When you needed help with an art project, he was always saying yes to helping or to actually doing it all for you. Handicapped from a birth defect, he never was one to complain about his limitations. He was always thankful for the many things he could do for himself.
Robert was preceded in death by his dad, Ignatius (Ned) Klein, his mom, (Virginia Klein), his brother, Charles (Chuck) Klein. He is survived by his sister, Sherri (Jim) Moon of Yakima, WA; his brother, James Klein of Kennewick, WA; nephew Bradley Moon of Newark, NJ and niece Christina (Lindsay Evans) Moon of Seattle, WA; and several cousins.
A special thank you to the West Valley Fire Department and emergency medical teams, doctors and nursing staff of MultiCare Memorial Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Robert.
No services have been planned.
Family arrangements have been entrusted to Langevin-Paraiso Funeral Home in Yakima.
