

Roberto was born on December 10, 1941, in Santa Rosa, Zacatecas, Mexico. From humble beginnings, he built a life centered on hard work, perseverance, and devotion to his family. In pursuit of a better future for those he loved, Roberto made the journey to the United States and helped establish a life that would create opportunities for generations to come. One of his proudest accomplishments was becoming a United States citizen at the age of 70.
In January of this year, Roberto and his beloved wife, Abigail, celebrated 58 years of marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love, resilience, laughter, and unwavering support.
Roberto’s love was not expressed only through words, but through actions. He was always willing to lend a hand, whether it meant helping with home repairs, working on a car, mowing a lawn, or simply showing up whenever someone needed him. Even after his children were grown, he continued to care for and support them in countless ways.
Together, Roberto and Abigail lovingly helped raise their grandchildren and played an active role in their lives. Their home was a place of love, comfort, and support, and their generosity touched generations of family members.
Those who knew Roberto knew they could count on him. He was dependable, hardworking, and selfless, always putting the needs of others before his own. His family will forever remember the many quiet acts of kindness that defined his life and the example he set through his unwavering love and generosity.
Roberto leaves behind his loving wife, Abigail; his children, Joel (Vithia) Muñoz, Norma Arellano, Lorena (Miguel) Espinosa, Robert Jr. (Reina) Muñoz, Jessica (Brandon) Evert, and Richard Muñoz.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ashley (Jesse) McLean, Alfonzo “Fonze” (Megan) Arellano, Jasmine (Richard) Mendoza, Adrianna Arellano, Brenda (Ricardo) Muñoz, Jovon Muñoz, Jazlyn Muñoz, Jayden Muñoz, Justin Muñoz, Reed Evert, Abby Muñoz, Seth Evert, and Ally Muñoz.
His great-grandchildren include Jayline Mendoza, Jesse McLean, Aiden Mendoza, Fernando “Nando” Zazueta, Adam Mendoza, Gavin McLean, Aaron Mendoza, Elena Romero, and Oya McLean.
The love surrounding Roberto in his final days reflected the love he spent a lifetime giving to others. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory, carry forward his values, and remember the countless ways he touched their lives.
Roberto’s greatest accomplishment was not found in any title or achievement, but in the family he loved so deeply and the legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion he leaves behind.
He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
