

Rolland was born in Manes, Missouri on February 14, 1937 to Arthur Todd and Fern (Rowe) Todd. He moved with his parents to the State of Washington at six years of age. He graduated from Eastern Washington State University in Cheney in 1963. From 1963 until 1966 he was employed as Program Director at the YWCA in Roseburg, Oregon. On November 3, 1972 he was married to Janet Woody in Wenatchee, Washington.
In 1965 he went to work for the Job Corps where worked in various capacities until 1987. He retired from the West Valley School District, transportation department in 2002 after fifteen years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved to bowl. Rolland was a member of the Yakima Cricket Motorhome Club.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Woody Todd of Yakima; three step sons, Brian (Mary) Woody and Steve Woody both of Yakima and James Woody of Reno, NV; two sisters, Mildred Lumberg and Ruth Pepin both of Wenatchee and numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Robert Woody, Brandon Woody, Chris and Brad Labes, Alex, Aaron and Erick Woody; Rolland’s in-laws, Juanita and Don James, Mary Bellew and Leroy and Diane Bellew. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Rolland Todd, Jr. and a brother, Robert Todd. Special people preceding him in death are stepson, Richard Woody in 1990, brother-in-law, Varian Lumberg in 1990, brother-in-law, Richard Bellew in 2001 and granddaughter, Michelle Woody in 2002.
