Ronald Edward Raver

Ronald Edward Raver, 53, was called home by our Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was born on August 31, 1963 in Yakima, Washington to Ron and Penny (Schneider) Raver. Ron was raised in Selah and graduated from Selah High School in 1981. His entire career was in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He worked on major jobs all over Washington and Idaho.

Ron truly had an amazing childhood. Raised in a very close family he learned the core values that would stay with him throughout his life. He loved the outdoors. He jeeped, snowmobiled, rode motorcross bikes, fished, hunted, rode quads and boated. All these things he shared with his family, friends and daughter Kami Jo. The two of them spent quality time on adventures and trying new things. He was an amazing father and took a lot of joy raising her along with her mother Stacy Jeffres.

He is survived by his parents Ron and Penny Raver, his daughter Kami Jo Raver, her mother Stacy Jeffres, his sister Cheryl Ann (Raver) Mattia and James, his nephew Austin and wife Kaitlyn Raver and nephew Spencer Hammond. He is preceded in death by his little sister, Dawnica Raver, his nephew Skyler Hammond, uncle Bill Schneider and his grandparents of both sides.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Ron on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Rainier Memorial Center, 2807 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima with a reception to follow at the Mattia’s home.
