Many good memories of Ron and Katie for Pat and I.  He was a true and caring  gentleman.  Larry and Pat. 

I've only know Ron since August of 2017.  He was a kind man, truly a gentleman.  He dearly loved his wife Katie and his 3 boys.  He also loved his grandchildren.  He loved the house on Camano Island that he and Katie built together.  I will always be indebted to this man who took such good care of Brian.  Rest in Peace Ron.  You and Katie are together again.

Seems like a long time since our teenage days at Yakima High  and the day you convinced me we should join the Coast Guard what a great decision - time passed  with marriage and children until retirement - days crabbing on Camano Island an electric pot puller would have helped  the ruling was if you want crab you pull the pots.  An occasional visit was always very entertaining especially with your wonderful side-kick Katie - it was a big job for her keeping you in line  - the two of you were the greatest hosts always with one of your  special BBQ's.  Ron the past few years have not been kind to you with the passing of your son  and special Katie.  You have  shown us all how to accept life  when tragedy strikes and will always be our special guy.    Peace be with you as you join the family waiting for you in heaven .  


Peace and love to all of Ron's family and friends as we mourn his passing and celebrate his wonderful life of service to his family and community. 
Ron was the best neighbor any family could have.  With his amazing wife Katy, they always were dependable to graciously help us in every situation that we asked them for help. When we were trying to attend my mother's funeral in Monroe in a blizzard, they drove us from Camano Island to make sure we got there in time. 
Ron rescued us from countless situations around the house that required his skill and determination to solve. 
His family is very fortunate to have such a wonderful man to remember. Rest in peace, Ron!
