Roy Lee Kelley entered eternal rest on November 26th, 2024. He was born on November 7th, 1934, in Zinc, AR to Roy Sr. and Lily Kelley. He married Mary Jo Kelley, on September 30th, 1956, in Tieton, WA. Roy and Mary were married for 65 years and raised six children together.
Roy was a proud Marine Veteran and served his country during the Koren War. He worked hard and had been an Orchard Forman and then worked for Yakima and Tieton Irrigation until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and taking care of his yard. Roy was a Sr. Pastor at the Full Gospel Church in Yakima and loved to sing and Preach the Gospel.
Roy is survived by his children: Linda (Howard) Benbrook, David (Carrie) Kelley, Billy Kelley, Daniel Kelley, and Dennis (Kim) Kelley, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Carol Baughman and Betty Whiteside, one Brother Ron Kelley, and son-in-law Ken Peltier.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jo Kelley; his daughter, Brenda Peltier, his mother and father Roy Sr. and Lily Kelley, his brothers Jay A Kelley, Jim Kelley, sisters Juanita Hilton and Rita Hoyt, and one granddaughter, Makayla Zimmerman.
Our hearts are broken, but we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Roy will be missed and always loved by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Monday, December 9th, 2024, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, 1010 West Yakima Avenue. The Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, also at the funeral home, with interment following at West Hills Memorial Park.
