

Rumelia A. Sandoval passed away peacefully Tuesday Morning July 23, 2019 surrounded by her family in Yakima, WA. Rumelia was born September 27, 1960 in Toppenish, WA. Growing up she attended White Swan School and Harrah School. Rumelia lived with her long time companion of 23 years Mario Duarte in Toppenish, WA.
Rumelia was well known as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, you could always depend on her to be there for her family. Her door was always open to everyone and loved to cook for them. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and spending time with her grandkids.
Rumelia is survived by her fiancé Mario Duarte; her daughter and three sons, Roy Sandoval (Rosie) of Victorville CA, Silvia Sandoval of Las Vegas, Edward Sandoval of Toppenish WA and Richard (Kris) Sandoval of Yakima WA; twenty three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Torres and Roger Torres and one sister Mary Lou Gonzales.
Rumelia is preceded in death by her parents Tomasa and Joe Anguiano, two sisters Stella Gonzales and Mary Torres and three brothers David Torres, Candelario Torres and Arturo Torres.
