Dear Mel, Tom and Lisa,
Rusty was a fellow quilter, with many talents and skills. She was generous and kind and always willing to share a pattern or help with ideas when I was strugggling with a project. But even more than that, she was a true friend and offered all that being a friend entails. She was very supportive to me over the years, but especially this past year when I faced George's illness and death. Her ability to help me laugh and knowledge of her support through prayer helped me and many others. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Rusty and i went from grades 1 through 10th at Holy Rosary grade/high school,
Holy Rosary was closed down after school year 1957/58
We remained friends. When i lived in Edgewood, Rusty lived near by, we visited until i moved to another area.Later on we both ended up in in Selah, until i once again moved, we stayed in touch. This year some of us who went to school together had lunch together, it was a lot of fun, we did a lot of catching up.
Rusty was a beautiful person inside & out. We will always remember you! You are now dancing with the angels & visiting your parents, brother & old friends!!!.

Rusty was a very special friend for 36 years.  She and I raised our sons and
shared many phone visits, cups of tea, and walks in the neighborhood all
of those years, and I already miss her greatly.
She had many special attributes that I admired.  She had a deep love for her
Lord and Savior, which she was always willing to share.  We prayed together
when troubles came for either of us, and I know God both heard and acted
on those concerns.  She was kind, charitable, fun, loving, and lived her life
faithful to her calling.  She greatly loved her son, Tom, Lisa and her grandsons,
Matthew and Jonathan.
She was an amazing quilter.  What a talent with color, pattern, and design.
I cherish one of her creations.
She greatly enjoyed the many trips taken with her husband and family,
especially the jaunts during the last year of her life.  
I shall miss our Christmas Tea, at her house or mine, which became a 
yearly tradition.  My friendship for her leaves a space that cannot be filled.
We will meet again, dear friend.  Save a place for me.
