Sharon was born on November 22nd 1945. Born in Yakima, Washington and growing up in the Nile, she lived a life filled with love, kindness, strength, and laughter. She touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Mom had a wonderful way of making ordinary moments extraordinary. Whether she was sharing a funny story, making a witty remark, working in her garden, or simply being herself, she gave us reasons to smile and memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Our mother was one of a kind. Her personality is unforgettable and her presence made life a little brighter for everyone who knew her. Mom was a hard worker, who believed in putting her heart into everything she did. She loved her garden where she spent time nurturing flowers and watching them grow.
Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. They never needed an invitation to visit their Grandma, which is something she took a lot of pride in. They came because they wanted to, because they loved her so much. Their visits were never an obligation, they were a joy. All the laughter, stories, and memories they shared with her were a beautiful reflection of love she gave freely.
Mom was loved more than words can express and she will be missed more than words can ever say. And now, we like to imagine Mom in heaven tending to the most beautiful garden imaginable. Perhaps she planting flowers, enjoying the sunshine, and enjoying laughter with her sister Carol with both of their unmistakable senses of humor.
She was a beloved Grandmother, mother, sister, and friend. She was blessed and such a blessing to us all.
Rest peacefully Mom. Your garden here on earth will never be quite the same without you, but the seeds of love, laughter, hard work, and kindness you planted in all of us will continue to grow. You will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents David and Laurel Kellogg and her sister Carol White. She is survived by her three daughters Kelly Austin, Cassandra Bryan, and Nyree Shannon, as well as 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at Keith and Keith Funeral Home on Friday November 13, at 11:00.
