Stanley D Hart

Stan was born to Wesley and Ruby Hart in Seattle on October 5, 1952. He was the 3rd out of 7 children. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Yakima where Stan spent his youth. He graduated from Davis High School in 1970. In the early eighties he bought a home in Cowiche adjacent to his parents’ and younger brother’s homes. Stan held various jobs during his career. His proudest achievement was being the VP of Operations for Hart Communications, a business founded and operated by him and his brother Skip. At the time of his death, Stan was retired.

Stan had a rather quiet personality and a gentle soul. He is fondly remembered as the favorite uncle of his many nieces and nephews. At Christmas time, no matter their ages, they would hand Uncle Stan their toys that needed to be released from their packaging. He enjoyed spending time with his parents and siblings including brother bonding trips. His sister Candy held a special place in his heart as he did in hers.

Stan had a love for music and attended many live concerts including The Eagles, one of his favorite bands and not to leave out Linda Ronstadt. His passion was his stereo system and the large record collection he amassed over a lifetime. He would spend hours fine tuning his turntable and buying the best amps and speakers.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley “Wes” and Ruby, his brothers Gordon and Wesley “Skip” Hart. He is survived by his brothers Keith Hart (Janet) of Cowiche, Ken Hart (Monica) of Spokane, Jeff Hart of Kennewick, and his sister Candy Thompson (Jim) of Yakima as well as many nieces and nephews.

Keith & Keith is handling funeral arrangements. There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
