
Steven James BoSanco, 71 of Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Yakima, WA. Born on April 10, 1954, to Quentin and Joanne BoSanco, Steven spent his early years in Seattle and Yakima. During his adult years, he lived in Kirkland before returning to Yakima to help care for his parents.
Steven graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, a foundation that supported a diverse and accomplished professional life. Over the years, he worked as an Athletic Trainer, where he inspired and supported his clients with dedication and care. He later pursued his creative passions as a Professional Photographer, capturing life’s moments with artistry and heart. Steven also found remarkable success as a top salesman of commercial coffee systems, earning recognition not only for his skill and determination but for the genuine relationships he built along the way.
Known for his sharp wit and great sense of humor, Steven had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. He enjoyed music and carried an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. His warmth, loyalty, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Joanne BoSanco.
Steven is survived by his cousin, Toni Nickell, and her husband, Jerry of Oregon; his close friend Lon Fletcher of Idaho; his kind and supportive neighbor Clem See; and many dear friends who will deeply miss his friendship, laughter, and generous spirit.
Steven’s life was marked by resilience, creativity, and connection. He will be remembered for his humor, his work ethic, and the genuine care he showed to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
