Tillie H. Huibregtse

Tillie Sauve Huibregtse, 96, of Yakima, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Wynwood of Yakima. Tillie was born on January 16, 1916, in Wood Lake, Minnesota to William and Emma Hartke. She moved to the Yakima area after marrying Henry Sauve. After many happy years of marriage, Henry died in 1976. Tillie married Merle Huibregtse many years later. Tillie’s greatest joy was her family. She loved preparing holiday meals and no one ever left her house hungry or without a goody bag of things to take home.

Tillie is survived by her four children: Diane Brown of Redmond, WA, Jim Sauve and his wife, Debbie of Albany, OR, Rita Hellbusch and her husband, Vern of Yakima and Carol Milliron and her husband, Richard of Yakima. She is also survived by three sisters, Adeline Gallion, Alice Weber, and Pearl Aadland, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded is death by nine brothers and sisters.
