Timothy Douglas Pedersen

Timothy "Tim" Pedersen, aged 56, passed away on February 23rd, 2026, in Yakima, Washington. Born on April 2nd, 1969, in Walla Walla, Washington, Tim lived a life marked by humor, charisma, and remarkable achievements.

Tim graduated from West Valley High School and continued his education at Yakima Valley Community College. During his teenage years, he excelled in competitive shooting, earning national recognition for his exceptional skills. He competed at Nationals twice, achieving an impressive 3rd place in the standing position and 4th place in the kneeling position—accomplishments that reflected his dedication and talent.

Tim was known for his funny and charismatic personality, traits that endeared him to those fortunate enough to know him. His presence brought joy and laughter to many lives.

He is survived by his father, Douglas "Doug" Pedersen, and his sister, Christina "Chris" Pedersen. Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Ade and Lilly Pedersen; Carroll and Peg Sprouse; and his mother, Patricia Pedersen.
