Tony grew up in Yakima, where he attended school and graduated from Davis High School in 1978. He had a lifelong passion for cars and music. He had owned Impalas and Chevelles, which were some of his favorites. He also had an extensive record collection and loved spending time listening to music. Tony will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, infectious laugh and warm smile.
He is survived by his children: Angelo (Ashley) Flores, Eddy Flores, Sara Flores, and Thomas Karel; his grandchildren: Ethan, Alivia, Laila, Audrey, and Anjelica; his mother Mary Karel; his sister Nona Vasquez; and numerous nieces and nephews—all who loved him dearly.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Wayne Karel; brothers Timothy Karel Sr. and Leslie Karel; sister Tina Karel; and his nephew Frank Gonzalez Jr.
Tony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
