

YAKIMA - Vernalee Ardell (Tyler) Morgan went to be with our Lord Jesus, her loving husband Charles, her Mom & Dad, son Charles Wayne, daughter Charolotte Lee and family and friends that have gone before her, on Friday December 13, 2013. Vernalee was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on July 1, 1928. She was raised in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. She married Charles Donald Morgan in Bentonville, Arkansas on Aug. 22, 1946. She and Charles moved with their children to Union Gap, Washington in May 1956.
She went to work for Summitview Manor Nursing Home and worked there for 27 years. She really enjoyed her career there. She loved working with both the residents and her friends there. She was a beautiful person, mother, spouse and a friend to many. She gave of herself to so many. She was such a generous person, always thinking of others.
She is survived by daughter Peggy and husband Jim Maine of Yakima, and a son Donald and wife Dawn of Aurora, CO, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Betty Bittle of Yakima, Wanda McDonald of Wichita, KS, and Joan Lee of Joplin, MO, 2 brothers, Carrol Tyler of Yakima, and Alford (Bill) William Tyler of Grove, OK.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Morgan, son Charles Wayne, daughter Charolotte Lee, father Alvin R. Tyler, mother Lillian Orlene Tyler, 3 brothers, Robert Noble Tyler, Tommy Wayne Tyler and Hubert Clay Tyler, sisters Louella Dunfee, Mary Sue Liby and sister-in-law Dorothy Tyler.
We will miss our loving mother, grandmother and friend. But we know now that she is happy and well again in Heaven with the Lord.
A special “Thank You” to all of Mom’s caregivers, to the Hospice nurses, Hospice Chaplin Dan Rogers and the nurses and aides at Summitview Healthcare Center for all of the loving care and attentive care that was given.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home with interment to follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
