Vicki Lou Ford

Vicki Lou Ford, 72, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. Vicki was born on October 10, 1953, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Dale and Vera (Corder) Dunbar.

Vicki graduated from Ritzville High School in 1972. She married Donald Dyck in 1970 and they moved to Selah WA where they had 2 children. Don and Vicki divorced in 1993. Vicki married John Ford in 1995 and were married for 19 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured her family and the time they shared together.

Vicki had a special love for gardening and took great pride in her home and yard. She also adored her animals, who were an important part of her life.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Angela (Chad) Lakey; her son, Michael (Andrea) Dyck; her grandchildren, Ethan and Avery Lakey, and Maris and Lorelai Dyck; her partner David Hernandez, her brother Brad (Jenny) Dunbar; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Vera Dunbar; her brothers, Dennis and Alan Dunbar; and her sister, Nancy Bridges.

Vicki will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her beautiful gardens, love for her animals, and the memories she created with her family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
