She graduated from WA-1-1I (Walla Walla High School). Vickie at age 16 worked at Birdseye Cannery in Walla Walla. She then met the love of her life Gerald King at the American Legion. They were married January 6, 1968 in Walla Walla. The newlyweds later moved to Wapato, WA, where they had been together for 48 years. Vickie loved to travel, go to the casinos, shopping, and discovering new places with Gerald and many other family members and friends. Vickie also loved to go to wineries, listen to Elvis Presley, and dance with Gerald. There is a huge void in the family; she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by children Kimberly (Herman) Diaz and Jerred King, siblings Mike Kennedy, Jill Hoch, and Jackie Clements, and grandchildren Anthony King, Brandon Cagle, and Ashleigh Diaz. Also her beloved dog Prissie. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers.
