I first became friends with Vickie in the 7th grade in Walla Walla. We had a group of girl friends, Vickie, Evelyn, Elaine & me...Dorothy. We stayed friends through the next 51 years after graduating together. We all would gather for class reunions, milestone birthdays, weddings....you name it, I-84 was kept busy. It was either we'd meet in Walla Walla, Wapato or Vancouver. We always would try to make sure none of us missed an event. We all had a strong relationship to each other & we enjoyed that friendship so much. We lost my husband Tom first, then Jerry & now Vickie. Words cannot express the total shock each of is feeling at this time. We have cried many tears & I am sure we will cry many, many more for Vickie. These last few days I will be sitting, just thinking and a thought or event or celebration in our lives together will pass through my mind & the tears start again. I know we will all be together again celebrating something one day... until then we will miss you, Jerry & Tom so very much.....
