

Our loving Mother Virginia Bernice Yeigh (Ginger) of Yakima, age 88, passed away on April 29th, 2012. She was born in Bentonville, Arkansas July 15, 1923 to Felix and Rosie Mae Harris. Ginger moved to Wyoming then to Tieton, Washington at the age of seven and She was educated in the Tieton School District. She met the love of her life Stanton Yeigh Sr. and married August 9,1941she then Worked 30 years in the Fruit Industry and retired from Pacific Fruit in 1986.
Ginger worked hard for all of her life making a home for her family which was the focus of her life. She never failed to remember a birthday or special occasion of each of her eight brothers and sisters along with their children.
Her children always departed with a warm hug and a kind word of encouragement which was her trademark reminder that they were always in her thoughts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Patricia as well as three brothers and two sisters.
Ginger is survived by three children Stanton (Patty) Yeigh Jr. of Yakima, Washington, Sharon (Steve) Desgrosellier of Eugene, Oregon and Terry (Julie) Yeigh of Spokane, Washington; one sister, Hazel Hughes and a sister in-law Jenae Harris along with eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at the Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 Am. A private family burial will be held Monday, May 7 at 10:00 AM.
