Vola Catherine Jackson

Vola was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved being outdoors and working in the garden. She knew the Bible scriptures backward and forward, and her faith in God was the most important thing to her. She was very faithful in church attendance and serving any way she could at Terrace Heights Baptist Church. She very much loved spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them in whatever she was able to. Her quiet demeanor and soft spoken spirit were characteristics that made her so well loved by all those around her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Delores (Ray) Croswell of Washougal; her grandchildren Patty (Roger) LeBlanc, Robin Johnson, Todd Jackson, Sandra (Russ) Stacks, Tom (Debbie) Croswell; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Gilbert Jackson, and her 2 sons, Joseph Jackson and Stewart Jackson.

Viewing will be on Friday, May 15 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

Burial will be at 9:30 on Saturday, May 16 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park followed by a Memorial Service at Rainier Memorial Center beginning at Noon. A reception will follow at Terrace Heights Baptist Church.

Donations in her memory may be made to Terrace Heights Baptist Church.
