

Wade was born July 13th 1956, son of Dewey L. and Lola M. Dunleavy. He was preceded in death by his father “Dude” Dunleavy in 1959. Lola remarried Lafe Johnson and had two children Brad Johnson (Sheri Caldwell) and Darla Johnson (Smith) (Patrick Smith). Wade attended high school in both Huntington OR. and Ontario OR. Wade had many occupations in his life from cowboy’ in to trucking. His mom said Wade always had a thing for trucks since he was a child and loved his Tonka trucks. In 1983 Wade married Cindy Heimgartner (Crandall). They had a daughter Jessica Dunleavy (Crandall) in 1986. Wade and Cindy divorced in 1992. Later on in 1992 Wade met Angela Grover (Taylor) and in 1994 they had a son Aaron Dunleavy. Wade and Angela married in June of 1995 and divorced shortly after. Wade met Emma Hamilton (Wilber) in 1997 and they had a son Ryan Dunleavy in 1999.
After 9 years of separation Lola played match maker and got Wade and Angela back together. Wade was living in Blythe CA., and Angela in Wilsonville OR. In Dec 2005 Wade and Aaron left Blythe and were reunited with Angela and together they moved to Umatilla OR. They remarried in Jan 2006. They resided in Umatilla until Wade went to work for Bob Hall Auto in Yakima WA. Wade would later go back in Ontario to work for Ontario Auto Brokers. He even made his way to Firebaugh CA. to work for a dealership there. Wade returned to Yakima and went to work at Valley Ford. After some time when the car business crashed with the economy Wade decided to go back to the trucking business. He was an owner /operator for Haney for several years. In 2015 he decided to go to work for DLM out of Sunnyside WA., and that is where he remained until he had his heart attack in Nov 2022.
Wade opted for open heart surgery due to having 3 stints put in years previous. Coming out of recovery from open heart surgery Wade suffered 2 strokes which would lead to his hospitalization over the next year. After a very long year of continued health failure Wade was placed on comfort care at St. Ann’s Hospital in Burien WA. on Friday Oct 27th 2023. On Tues Nov 14th Wade was brought to Yakima and continued his hospice care in the comfort of his home. Wade went to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 19th 2023 at home with his wife, son and grandson at his side. Wade is survived by his mom Lola Dunleavy, wife Angela, siblings Brad Johnson and Darla Smith. His children Jessica Crandall, Aaron Dunleavy, and Ryan Dunleavy, Mathew and Justin Grover, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
