Wally Joseph Payment

Wally was born on 7/25/45 in Lambert, MN to Phillip and Louise Payment. He graduated from Davis High School in Yakima. He married Loretta in 1963 and had 2 sons. After working at United Parcel Service for more than 27 years, Wally retired to enjoy time with his family as well as fishing, spending time in the mountains, camping, playing cards, and family gatherings. His family and friends will always remember him as a very giving and helpful person. He loved to bake all kinds of goodies for everyone, to tease the grandkids and give them all nicknames.

Wally is survived by his wife of 52 years, Loretta Payment; his sons: Tim (Mary) Payment of Yakima; Thomas (Heidi) Payment, of Yakima; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his sisters: Pauline Rouse (Wes), Felisa Cox (Charlie), Martha Adams, and many special nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Louise Payment, his brothers-in-law John Adams, Don Glidewell and Jim Rouse.

Viewing will be Tuesday, 9/22/15, 4-8 pm at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, 1010 W. Yakima Ave. Graveside service will be Wednesday, 9/23/15 at 1 PM at West Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Dr. Olden and Kit for all the loving care over the years and the staff at Memorial Hospital especially Renee, Susan and Nathan as well as the staff at Cottage in the Meadow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that all donations be made to Cottage in the Meadow or the favorite charity of the donor.
