

He was born January 29, 1921 in Jasper, Arkansas at the family home to John and Francis (Henderson) Thompson. Warren was the 8th of 12 children. After graduating high school, Warren served during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He was married to Juanita (Neal) Thompson for over 50 years and had three daughters.
Warren started working at Hanford then went to work for Herb Ford on Naches Heights before becoming a foreman for Marley Orchards until retirement. He was a master of grafting and his skills were in high demand throughout the valley. He was a big supporter of schools, especially Highland, where his girls attended. Warren was a big basketball fan and followed the Scotties at their home and away games.
After moving to Western Grove, Arkansas in 1998, he married Wanda Pierce. He lived at home until the last two years when he was at Highlands Nursing Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
Warren is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (Jim) McLean of Kennewick, Sharron Thompson of Pebble Beach, CA and Greta (Rick) Alderson of Yakima; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2nd at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Private burial will be at West Hills Memorial Park.
