

William was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on June 30, 1938 to Jack and Nellie (Holland) Snow. He used to love to play the Lone Ranger with his sister, Jinny and she called him Tonto. He was given the name of low shoulder by the Hopi Indians.
He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for 30 years. He was employed by m.a.t.e.s. at the Yakima Training Center when he retired.
William married Vickie Parren on June 15, 1969 in Corning, CA.
William loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping and barbeques. He liked remodeling homes. He had many friends from all over. He was a wonderful family man who never met a stranger. He was a great and caring husband, Dad, grandfather and an outstanding uncle, who will be missed by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Snow of Selah; his children, Anna Marie Pierce of Tennessee, Eric Snow of Yakima, Crystal Snow of Union Gap, Angelica Snow of Yakima and Monica Snow of Selah; many grandchildren; his siblings, Jinny Snow of Stockton, CA, Mildred Frey of Adelanto, CA, Thomas Snow of Modesto, CA, Marilyn Creamer of Stockton, CA, Peggy Snyder of Bakersfield, CA and Debra Winters of Porterville, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25th at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Concluding services and burial with full military honors conducted by member of William Wharton Post #379 VFW and Washington State National Guard will follow at Tahoma Cemetery.
