Winona Yvette Horseman

November 1963- April 2024

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Winona Yvette Horseman, age 60, who passed away on April 2nd, 2024 in Seattle, WA. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and unwavering love that will forever echo in our hearts.

As a devoted mother, Yvette was fiercely protective of her children, always standing by their side through thick and thin. She can be defined by her boundless capacity for love. Her heart overflowed with compassion, and she selflessly gave of herself to help others in need. Whether offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, providing a safe place to stay with a warm, homecooked meal, she touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity.

Yvette was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Alfreda Horseman; Her sister Gilda Sioux; brothers Greyson, Gilbert “Gilly” Jr, Frederick, and Gaylord Charles Roy.

She is survived by her two children, Frankie Cordova (age 41), Jessica Cordova (age 40) and three grandchildren, Silas (age 16), Elijah (age 8) and Gabriella (age 9 mos.); Siblings Ella Faye, Linda Lou, Druscilla, Gifford John, Theodora G, Ruby May, Yvonne Carol, Fonda Frances, Essie Mae; and many nephews and nieces- all of whom she loved and cherished.

As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and profound impact she had on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Private services will be held via Keith & Keith Funeral home.
