Yvonne Marie Farris

She grew up mainly in LaSalle Co. and graduated high school in nearby Milliken, Colorado.

In 1969 Yvonne moved to Seattle. There she met and married the love of her life, Gene Farris in 1976. They spent many happy years doing the things they loved, camping, fishing, hunting, and laughing. Gene and Yvonne moved to Yakima in 1999 and spent the rest of their days there. He preceded her in death in 2013. She also loved cooking, crocheting, and sewing, pleasing the family with her handiwork.

Yvonne had several jobs. She worked at a chicken processing plant until becoming allergic then going to work for Frito Lay. Her favorite job was entering orders from the buyers at Frederick and Nelson.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Bolden and her husband Joe of Deary, ID, Debbie Knox and her husband Don of Everett, WA and Connie Hauck of Everett, WA. One step daughter Laurie Loucks and her husband Jeff of Yelm, WA. Also are 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She has one brother, Dannie Channel of WA.

There will be a big empty space in our lives without you. We love you and will miss you more than words can say.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
