Amy Elmira Caiazzo

A devoted mother and wife, Amy poured her heart into caring for her family every day of her life. She found joy in reading, gardening, antiquing, and spending weekends surrounded by the people she loved most. Those simple moments with family brought her the greatest happiness.

A proud graduate of Portland High School, Class of 1952, Amy was a majorette who loved dancing, sharing laughs, and embracing life with warmth and enthusiasm. She lived in Portland until 1986 and later enjoyed many peaceful years in North Yarmouth, Maine.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph J. Caiazzo, and her son, Peter J. Caiazzo, whose memories she carried close to her heart throughout her life.

Amy is survived by her children: • Amy Jo C. Landry and her husband Arthur • Michael Caiazzo • Joseph Caiazzo Jr. and his wife Wendy • Paul Caiazzo and his wife Meg.

She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Rachel Schaible, Adam Landry, Joseph Landry, Henry Caiazzo, Anthony Caiazzo, Michael Caiazzo Jr., Kayla Caiazzo, Ben Caiazzo, and Victor Caiazzo, as well as her great grandchildren — Elsie Caiazzo, Flora Caiazzo, Viola Caiazzo, Joseph S. Landry, and George Landry — each a joyful reminder of her enduring love for family.

Amy will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
