
Yarmouth - Ann K. Falicon’s long life peacefully ended on December 26, 2017, at Bay Square of Yarmouth, Maine, her home for the past three years. She was born on March 10, 1922, to Anna and Nicholas Krasnogira, and was raised in East Rutherford, NJ. She married her high school sweetheart, James Falicon, in 1946, when he returned from the war. They raised their family in Rutherford, NJ, then moved to Washington Township, NJ, Clearwater FL, and back to East Rutherford in retirement.
Ann was a working woman for nearly her entire adult life. She maintained accounts for the family printing business from the 1940s until 2012. She also was an insurance agent and a qualified enrolled agent for the IRS. She was the long time treasurer of their island summer colony, Barley Point, in Rumson, NJ. She loved learning and studied at Fairleigh Dickinson and Columbia Universities as a young woman and earned a degree from Bergen Community College when her children were grown.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, James, in 2002, her brother Nicholas Krasnogira and her sister, Olga Krasnogira Falicon. She is survived by her daughter, Jayne Falicon Soles and husband, Christopher, of Freeport, ME, her son James Falicon and wife Sandra Dunlop, of Bradford, NH, and son Kenneth and wife Catherine Maloney, of Rumson, NJ. She leaves six grandchildren and four great grandsons: Felicity Soles Ryan and sons, Maddox and Paxton, Nathaniel Soles, Elizabeth Falicon Salera and sons, Thatcher and Harrison, Brian Falicon, Craig Falicon, and Andrew Falicon.
