

Portland - Charles “Chuck” Alex Wilson,28, of Cumberland died in his sleep January 26th. He was born September 14, 1983, the son of Pete and Lise Wilson. Chuck was, and is in spirit, a wonderful, delightful, giving man. He will be remembered for his humor and loving, caring manner. He has moved on to make Heaven a better place.
Chuck was an electrician. He loved to swim, snowboard, motorcycle, play lacrosse and chess, and thrived on discussing the workings of the universe with his father, including Newtonian mechanics, relativity and quantum theory. His musical taste was eclectic, from Marilyn Manson to Hank Williams Sr.
Primarily, Chuck valued his friends and never hesitated to offer his time and resources. He was particularly close with his grandmother Doris, and always proud to help her. He was looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life with plans to move to Austin, Texas for work.
Chuck is survived by his parents, Pete and Lise Wilson, his sisters, Nicole and Emily and his grandmother Doris . A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 4-6 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm with Fr.
