Dear Maryann and family : Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Your wonderful husband ,Eric! I have so many memories of events that Eric and my Father (Dick Kelley) played at over the years! One especially is the Hofbrau German Band. Playing at my husband Dick and my wedding reception at Carolyn’s in Cape Elizabeth! Music certainly brought my parents (Mary and Dick Kelley ) many treasured friends like you and Eric over the years. Eric will be missed and remembered fondly. Sincerely Pat Kelley Kempton

So sorry to learn of Eric's passing. We were classmates and friends at DHS class of '55. I ran into him off and on thru the years mostly at his music venues. Loved to see him playing his horns and chatting with him.
Funny that we both wound up living in Cumberland but didn't see each other often. I will miss seeing him again, my condolences to all the family.

Eric and I go back many years. I met him when I started to go to the Joe Ramonao band rehearsals In Portland,Maine We hit it off and went to visit his family when he lived on Foreside Road in Falmouth,Me. Also played in the S.D.Warren Band with him in the late 1960's. What I liked about Eric was his sense of humor and his good nature. Will miss the laughs we had together when I met with him as time went by. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family. He will sadly be missed by those that knew him. Ralph C. Hatt Westbrook,Maine

I am so happy to have known Andy through music over the years! Tex Ranger and I enjoyed the Hofbrau German Band on occasion. Andy was such a genuine fellow! Being a fellow brass player (trombone), I offer my condolences.

Dear Maryann, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and the boys. I was sorry to read of Eric's passing.
One of the many memories I have, is all the weekends that I spent with you and the family while Ralph and Eric did projects around the house.
I have the pictures of the two of you at my wedding, what wonderful memories I have of playing with boys and just spending time with all of you.

I met Eric thirteen years ago through the Freeport TubaChristmas which he formed and conducted, and we were close neighbors. He was always helpful, and I was very impressed with his wide knowledge and skills in so many areas. My life was made better for having known Eric.
