

Jack was born on November 22, 1936 the son of Wilmot Jackson and Helen Skillin Jackson. He attended Standish schools before moving to Falmouth at the age of 16. He married the love of his life Jane “Bev” Young and raised a family of two children. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Jack began his career as a heavy equipment mechanic at the age of 17, working for Caterpillar for 45 years. He was highly respected in his field. Jack loved to design and build pulling tractors and competed with them in State Fairs. He was a member of the Pine Tree Mini Tractor Pullers Club. During the summer months he loved water skiing on Sebago Lake and in winter months could be found on the snowmobile trails throughout Maine and New Hampshire. He enjoyed hunting with his son, watching stock car racing and listening to country music.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Jane, “Bev”, of Falmouth, his son Keith and wife Etta Jackson of North Yarmouth, his daughter Sharon and husband Aaron Osgood of Indialantic, Florida; four grandchildren Katie, Dylan, Cody Osgood and Alicia Burby; a great grandson Grayden Burby.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 19th at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Falmouth. The public is invited to attend and celebrate Jack’s life.
