Joanne was the 2nd of 4 children of USNR Capt. Donald D and Victoria W Hunt of Weymouth MA.
Siblings brother Bruce, sister Susanna, survived by brother Don. Born in Braintree on 16 June 1930
she attended school in Weymouth, graduating High School in 1948. Joanne worked as a payroll clerk at the Quincy MA Fore River Ship Yard and later in life her favorite, selling kids clothing at several kids
shops. In the fall of 1949 Jonnie met her husband John H Aronson of Quincy. Married 18 May 1952,
she and the GI Bill got Jack through Northeastern University to the class of 1955.

Steven of Arlington MA, wife Carlene, father of Kate and Paul
Craig of Litchfield ME, wife-to-be Sally, father of Lindsey and Will, grampy to Wyatt
Their extended and loving family includes:
Brian Woodbury, every ones’ favorite supporter, helper, photographer, FRIEND
Tim White, Zeke’s dad
Kent Kannenberg father of Sara and Amy
Michele Aronson, mom of Lindsey and Will, grammy to Wyatt
Joe Cusack, Wyatt’s dad, Lindsey’s husband
Gordie Macfarlane, Jack’s dad, Amy’s husband
Jenny lee Swallow, Will’s companion
Grammy loved family gatherings (the Lobster do), travel with Jack’s brother Charlie and wife Dorothy,
sewing for kids, quilting, was an avid reader, and when Jack retired, travel- trailering the USA.
She kept a tradition at birthdays of a card with a dollar for each year plus one to grow on, stickers all
over and lots of love.
The family is planning a service at the Memorial Garden at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshfield MA
some time in the fall.
And we want to thank Northern Light Home Care and Hospice for the loving care Joanne received
during her home stay.
