We have nothing but fond memories of John, at the franchise meetings, at his beautiful home in Maine, and of course on his sailboat.  Our deepest sympathy to Bobbi, Chris, and Eric and the entire family.  John's laugh will be with us forever.

John was one of a kind! Straight forward and honest. You always knew where he stood on any topic of conversation. On the other hand, John loved to have a good time with a beer in one hand when he told his funny stories that made me always laugh. Manpower was made a better company because John asked the tough questions and demanded performance. I will miss him. God be with him.

I was deeply saddened by the news of John's passing.  I have many fond memories of my time at Manpower from the early to mid-eighties.  He was a special man who made his mark in so many ways. Saddened to hear of John's passing. Many fond memories of knowing him over the years. Warmest wishes to Bobbee, Erik, Chris, and his Manpower family during this difficult time.

Bobbee, I didn't know John that well, but the few times we spoke, I was always inspired and proud to be a part of the Manpower team. He has left behind many good memories, people who loved and admired him, and wonderful family. What a legacy! Take good care.

I had the pleasure of meeting John when he decided to take on the challenge of acquiring the Manpower franchise and allowed my CPA firm to assist him in the process.. Glenn Meehan and I spent time in many meetings with John and never ceased to be impressed with his energy, optimism, curiosity and particularly his concern for people.  It did not matter if they were employees or temporary workers John could engage them and encourage each to excel. It was a pleasure to have met and worked with John during his years of growing the business.

Bobbie, my sincere condolences. I know it was sort of expected, but still we all hoped for the best. Of course he is now in a good place. Sailing up there looking down on us wishing us all fair winds. We will miss him. I wish I could be at the service, but I am in Florida and have a commitment on that date that I cannot break. It was my pleasure to have been able to work and socialize with John during our times together at Manpower and our Franchise Owners association. He was a man who was not afraid to voice his opinion, always doing so in a business like and respectful manner. My deepest sympathy to Bobbee and family as well as John's Manpower family....

Our thoughts are with John,'s family and Bobbie and her  family at this life changing time. We had the privilege of knowing John fairly only briefly but stayed in his beautiful home and had a boat ride with him on the water near his home.
