Mary Davies

Mary Tracy Davies, age 80, of Yarmouth, Maine passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026. She was born on September 7, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Nancy and John Davies. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Davies, and her sister, Allison Talbot.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed baking her blueberry coffee cake and carrot cake which she loved to make any chance she could. She also loved being on the ocean, whether taking long walks at Winslow Park or sailing in Casco Bay.

Mary possessed a deep love for nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful gardens she created, watching the native birds at her feeders and walking her beloved cocker spaniels.

She is survived by her two children, Margaret Olges and her husband Mark of Maine and Marshall Jones and his wife, Jenny of Massachusetts; her grandchildren Ashley, Cameron, Ryan, Katie, and Ava and her great-grandchildren Maddie and William, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother John Davies and his wife, Mary Jo and her brother-in-law, Terry Talbot.

Her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank Heron House in Cumberland for their care and support as well as all of the hospice nurses. Per Mary's wishes, no formal services will be held; her ashes will be scattered privately by the family at a later date.
