
Pat was born on Oct. 6, 1927 and was the eldest of George and Miriam Thoits of Falmouth's eight children. He was predeceased by wife Marjorie Collins Thoits in 1997. They were married on Oct. 24, 1946.
From 1946-1947 Pat served in the Army and was stationed in Japan. Back home, he was a member of the Teamsters Union and spent many years driving first for A&P Grocery, and then, with his brother Linwood, for Coppers Co. Pat's favorite pastime was bowling, which he excelled at. He was a member of both traveling leagues and local ones at Prides Corner and Northgate Bowling Alley. In his younger years, he played baseball for the "Townies" with his brother John.
Pat was predeceased by brothers John and Linwood. He is survived by sisters Anna and Donna, brothers Carl, Russel, and Harvey; his four sons Richard (wife Pamela Sylvester), Ronald, Robert, and Randall (wife Julie Burke); grandchildren Robert, Jenny, Randall, Erica, and Ryan; and eight great-grandchildren.
