Michael Milne

Florida - Michael Milne, 52, passed away on January 16, 2022 due to underlying health issues. Michael was born in Cumberland, Maine on May 10, 1969. He graduated from Greely High School in Cumberland, where he was an outstanding swimmer, and participated in soccer and track. Michael later graduated from Florida State University where he majored in marketing.

Michael eventually joined his older sister Lysa at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. All three siblings eventually worked there for many years learning the hospitality industry and making lifelong friends. Michael moved back to Boston and began his marketing career in the beverage industry at such places as Harpoon Brewery. He worked at Moet Hennessy in Boston and Fort Lauderdale for 22 years. Michael’s latest projects included writing and producing music and he was an excellent artist.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Julie Lamm of Fort Lauderdale, FL; mother and father Sandra and Craig Milne of Cumberland, ME, sister Lysa Milne Curry of Hingham, MA and brother Dave(and Jen) Milne of Sarasota, FL. He also leaves behind 6 nieces and nephews, who think he hung the moon; three aunts Susan Milne of Lexington, MA, Carol Milne of Natick, MA and Linda Akers of Palmer, AL. He has left way to soon and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A private burial will be held this summer with a public Celebration of Life at Rachel’s on the Green at Val Halla Golf Course. More details to follow about this.
