Robert Raymond Rioux

Yarmouth, ME- Robert (Bob) Raymond Rioux, 82, of Yarmouth, ME, passed away on September 8, 2025, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Portland, ME, and attended Portland schools and Cheverus High School.

Bob worked in the automotive field for several automotive stores throughout his life. He most recently worked at Advance Auto in Westbrook.

Bob loved to work and especially around his home. Earlier in life, he loved to cut and split his own firewood. He loved his dog Sunny and spent many afternoons with him in the backyard.

He is survived by wife of 58 years, Frances (Brown) Rioux of Yarmouth; his children, Robin Reed and her husband Alan of New Gloucester, ME, Brian Rioux and his wife Alison of Yarmouth; grandchildren, Emily Reed of Lisbon, ME, Dylan Reed of New Gloucester, Joey Rioux of Yarmouth, Payton McKay of Yarmouth and Cody McKay of Yarmouth; sister in-law, Lois Brown of Old Orchard Beach; and his beloved dog Sunny who misses him dearly.
