Sandra was a remarkably talented woman with a passion for anything creative. She made hundreds of quilts, knitted countless items, and even ran three small businesses selling knitting machines, sock machines, and jewelry.
Yet, her greatest dedication was to her family. To her children, Timothy, Kirk, and Lillie, she was a loving mother who taught them to pray and love and respect life and even sewed their clothes when they were young. In my opinion, she was the most wonderful wife and mother I could ever imagine.
She was also my greatest adventure partner. She'd climb into our plane and fly with me far beyond the horizon, and in 2013, she hopped on the back of my motorcycle for a cross-country trip to California and back—praying the rosary the entire way, I'm sure. Sandra was a person who consistently gave more than she ever expected in return, and she inspired me to become a better man.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday August 29, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Jude's Catholic Church 134 Main Street Freeport, Maine.
