1981 - 2018
Wes Bailey passed away unexpectedly on September 23rd, 2018, at the age of 37 years.
He was born April 10th, 1981 in Portland, ME, the son of Bruce and Lori Bailey. He grew
up in Cumberland and North Yarmouth, graduating Greely High School in the year 2000.
Wes attended SMCC and became a licensed electrician. He took these skills and worked
in the family business, Bailey Sign, for the previous sixteen years as an expert in the sign
service and installation field.
He enjoyed history, politics, books, gaming, martial arts, learning in general, traveling, and
spending time with his family. He was an avid listener of history audiobooks and podcasts;
which helped him enjoy his travels throughout New England in the sign service industry.
He was a spiritual man who faced life fearlessly and liked his coffee black.
He was predeceased by his mother Lori Young Bailey in 1986. He is survived by his father
and wife Bruce W. Bailey Sr. and Adena Bailey of Cumberland, ME; a brother Bruce W.
Bailey (Will) and wife Kelley Bailey, a niece and nephew Cooper and Amelia Bailey of
Durham, ME. He will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation of Wes’ life will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, from 5 to 7pm at
