

Yarmouth Maine to Andrew and Francis Jordan, he met the love of his life Janice Jordan in Freeport Maine. Bill and Janice married on December 31st, 1973 and would be together for 47 years. Together, they raised three children Billy Jack, Ryan & Sarah. Bill and Janice were complete opposites but they had one thing for certain, it was their love for each other.
Bill, also known as Brother, Dad, & Papa was a family first type of man, he took great pride in being a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He may have been a tough son of a gun but once you got to know him, he had a very loving heart. He will be remembered for his kindness, his handshake, his hug, his smile, and his honesty, he told you how it was no matter who you were. He was the definition of tough love.
Bill was in love with riding his Harley-Davidson and told stories about riding with John Bentson, Mike Soule and other bikers. He was very proud of those stories and the memories. Bill also loved Janice's cats while growing up, Goldie and Tator were among his favorites, he loved getting visited by Sarah’s dog Emma-Bear and Ryan’s dog Ruby, everytime he would see them he would light up, Animals brought a smile out of Bill. He loved watching T.V. His favorites were the Price is Right, Impractical Jokers, NasCar, Drag Racing, the Car Auction, and Fox News.
Bill loved to work, and he worked many different jobs, his first of many was working in the woods with his father when he was growing up as a young boy - He loved telling his stories about growing up with his father working in the woods. Bill would then turn to become an Eastland Shoe employee, he would tell stories about meeting Steve Grogan a former New England Patriots Quarterback. Bill found a few calling after the Shoe business, he would be a Freeport Taxi driver and also drove for Gray Wrecker both jobs produced many friendships that Bill talked about all the way up until the end. Near the end of his work journey he worked for the Dream Builders and Hancock Lumber he would talk about stories that he had with customers and co-workers, he loved both of those jobs deeply.
Bill had a lot of different interests, he was an amazing artist, give him a pencil and he would make some great drawings. He loved to ride his Harley with Janice and his best friends. When it was fair season Bill would drive to the Fryeburg fair with his wife Janice. Bill had multiple great stories from all the years he lived, he loved talking about his life stories.
He is survived by his three children Bill Jordan Jr and his wife Donika, Ryan Jordan and his wife Amanda Jordan, Sara Dube and her husband Tom, and four grandchildren, Eliza, Karver, Wyatt, and Emma, all of Pownal.
Bill was a prime example of tough love, he would always support those in need, Bill was looked at as a Dad/Uncle figure to many. People will remember Bill by these following statements:
Never walk in someone's shadow, cast your own.
He was the last person to accept a hand out, but the first person to lend a hand.
Harleys never die, just their owners
Bill’s way to depart with friends was a handshake and keep the rubber side down brother.
