

She was born on September 24, 1918 in Yonkers to Louis and Lena Stofko Kish where she was raised and educated. Mrs. McDonald was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Church. She was a member of the Monastery Tenants Association. On October 3, 1942, she married her loving husband Jack McDonald in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, daughter, Janet, grandson John Filardi, daughter in law Arlene, a son in law Walter, sisters Theresa Rogola, Helen Betley and Blanche Krohta and brothers, John and Andrew Kish. She is survived by a son Jack McDonald (Susan) of Yonkers, two daughters, Patty McDonald Ineson of Yonkers and Colleen O’Connell (Jack ) of Bluffton, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ada was a kind and compassionate woman who took care of many, young and old. She was a faithful woman who loved to dance, travel and was an avid Yankees fan. The family greatly appreciated all the loving care from St. Patrick’s Home. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Monday January 10th at 11am.
