She was born on October 22, 1921 to Joseph and Elizabeth Martin Marcella in Briarcliff Manor. She attended schools in Briarcliff Manor and Ossining. She was a former parishioner of St. Denis Church in Yonkers. She married her loving husband Andrew Chubin in Ossining. Mr. Chubin died in 1988. Survivors include a son, Dennis Chubin of Yonkers, a daughter, Janet Dougherty and her husband Ken of Ft. Myers, FL and a brother, Frank Valenzo of Ossining. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Victor Marcella and a sister, Helen Marcella. Final disposition will be private. There will be a memorial mass at Sacred Heart Church at a later date.
