Agostino D’Angelo, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. He was 68 years old. He was born on February 18, 1945 to Remo and Ida D’Amico D’Angelo in Montebello, Sul Sangro, Italy. Mr. D’Angelo was a chef in several restaurants in Westchester County throughout the years. He is survived by his two sisters, Gabriella Caferra and her husband Harry of Mahopac and Lorie Valletta of Yonkers. He is also survived by a niece, Sabrina Valetta of Yonkers. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday 5-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday September 4th at 11 am. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
