Alayah-Rose Savarese, of Yonkers, died on Monday June 25, 2012 at her residence in Yonkers at the age of 8. She was born on May 8, 2004 to Nicole Diggs and Anthony Savarese in Ithaca, N.Y. Both of her parents survive and live in Yonkers. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Oscar Thomas, Jr. and Nicholas Thomas. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lisa Santana, her great grandmother, Rosetta Brightwell and her aunt and uncle, Anna and John Nance. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday morning only from 11 am to 1 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home. The final disposition is private.
